About the project
NakhchivanJam brought courses and a game jam to Nakhchivan — the most geographically isolated part of the country, and the hardest place to reach with anything industry-related.
Running the same programme in Ganja and Nakhchivan in one year was deliberate: a games industry that only exists in Baku is not a national one.
Outcomes
- Game development courses delivered in Nakhchivan
- A local game jam run alongside the programme
- Regional reach extended beyond Baku and Ganja
