About the project
GameJamPlus is an international game development programme that brings together developers from more than 50 countries. It starts with a 48-hour jam on a set theme; the strongest projects then move on through incubation, continental semifinals and acceleration to a Global Final in front of an international jury.
We co-organised the Azerbaijan stage of the 2026/27 season with Gamepons and IGDA Azerbaijan, with support from INNOLAND, who hosted the jam at their incubation and acceleration center in Baku on 16–18 October 2026.
81 participants in 19 teams shipped 19 games over the weekend — from co-op puzzlers and horror to a card-based RPG and an arena shooter. The jury placed XGB studio's Catmarine, a local co-op underwater puzzle game, first, ahead of Clockwork's Keep Looking and Foxparks' CraneMates. Registration, submissions and judging all ran on HackathonHost.
